Grubslaw started skinseed in 2019, under the username Leramen as a shitposter, and then later moved to the names Mynt and FurryStripper in 2020 and began trolling. They expanded their trolling once they moved to the name Grubslaw, which they were mostly known by. Their style of trolling was scribbling on pixel art, or making edgy pixel art of their own, and being vulgar.

The main thing Grub is known for is creating fake drama with an account called Bellemeiko, who would make callout posts about grub, and got into drama with another fake account called gallerydabean, resulting in a fake doxx. Their other account, PewNews2020 (later 2021) documented the drama, and was the account to reveal that it was all fake. They were also known for doxxing LOD, after he gave them his address. Grub was commonly known in the community as seeking attention by other users.

In early 2020, when Grub was just starting to get big, they got hacked while trying to get a pfp. This situation blew up amongst Grub and their friends including Plantics, Overheaven, and more. People started talking about it and raising awareness against the user who hacked them, known as Kash. When Grub left, A user by the name of Grubbly impersonated them. They would steal skins and boast about “white power” and attack fnaf fans, which lead to them being in their fair share of drama. Unfortunately for Grub, many of their friends believed it was really them. The person who impersonated Grub is suspected to be someone by the name of Smuggly, but its unconfirmed, and the same person is also suspected of impersonating one of Odeko's friends currently. There was also a brief situation in 2021 where Grub was starting fights with people like @watermelonseed (now gone), and Cherryloftwing, which they ended up befriending in the end after they hated them.  
 
@ur_a_dum_fuc was an account that came around in 2022 who threatened to steal their oc and would spam their skins with "kys".
