#WeAreDaEevees

#WeAreDaEevees, also originally known as "Eeveelution squad" is a trend that was started on March 26, 2020 by the user Finn69/FinnLikesBread, also commonly refferred to by friends as "Kryss". It started as a hashtag for Kryss and some friends, as well as a few other eevee themed pokefurries who happened to join, meant as a "club for eeveelutions". The hashtag quickly began growing and becoming widely popular with the SkinSeed Pokefurry community, even those of which weren't eevee themed, and even some that were just non-pokemon themed furries. The hashtag showed up around the same time as the 2020 Pokefurry war, and many pokefurries used the hashtag as a means to show solidarity for their Pokefurry friends being targeted, or saw it as a means to "stand up" against the PokeFurry war, seemingly causing a bigger surge in popularity among the community.The tag was also posted by trolls on the opposite side of the war, suck as Pokey and Farfetchd alongside a "shot and killed" post, using the hashtag to make sure the Pokefurry community would see it.

Over time, drama apart from the Pokefurry war circulated in the Pokefurry community regaurding the "WeAreDaEevee" hashtag. The hashtag got so big, it ended up overwhealming the original creator, Kryss, who attempted to dial down some of the talk around it and limit certain people from joining it, editing the original post telling people to "leave the hashtag alone", encouraging people to stop using it, saying he didn't want it to be a thing anymore, and was sick of seeing it everywhere, possibly recieving backlash from it as well. He later retracted that statement in a seperate post, telling people to do what they want with it.

Kryss mostly tried to seperate himself from the movement, reliquishing ownership to others, such as UltraDaUmbreon, now known as Blake_Pierce. Leadership of the movement soon became a lot for Blake to handle as well, and he ended up reliquishing ownership to a User named EmieDaSireneon. Throughout the movement's lifespan, there were multiple different "leaders", as well as numerous arguments about who is or isn't the leader, who who deserves to be the leader.

Parody hashtags or similar hashtags made to garner the same noteriety as WeAreDaEevees were also common, such as "WeAreNotDaEevees", started by A_Galvantula (Also known somewhat as ItsParrotCraftYT). Several Pokefurry related hashtags existed, especially during the 2020 Pokefurry war, but not many stood out like WeAreDaEevees.
